Hong Kong International Students Innovative Invention Contest 2018

We are extremely proud of our students Cheng Wang Chi, He Mei Jing and Lau Tan Nt who represented our school in the Hong Kong International Students Innovative Invention Contest 2018 and have won the Silver Award.

The winning glory is not only for our school but also for Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong International Students Innovative Invention Contest is an annual academic event open to students from different countries in the world. This competition aims at bringing forth the innovative talents among young students.

A total of 362 teams participated including teams from Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Macau. After winning the gold medal last year , our students made it to the Silver facing a tight competition from all other teams this year.

Making glowing Christmas tree

Under the guidance of the big brother and the big sister, J.1 and J.2 students think about how to make a stable Christmas tree by using cardboard, and then use LED light strips and battery boxes to make a glowing Christmas tree with their own style.

Creative Lantern Design

Teaching exchange with sister school--Guangzhou Panyu Shiqiao Experimental Primary School.

Our school teachers instruct students to make creative lanterns. With the programming theory, students can input the edited program into the host module. The 4 sets of buttons clearly show 4 completely different effects.

Cook an egg by lighting

By principle of reflection of light, light produced by the lamp was reflected to the egg by aluminum foil, so that heat energy was absorbed by egg.

Fruit battery

Use lemon, copper strip and zinc strip to make fruit batteries and lights up a LED light bulb.

Making Hovercraft

Hovercraft driven by a micro-motor is made to participate “Model Hovercraft Design Competition”
